This pie combines two traditional holiday flavors that will immediately improve your culinary reputation!

Serves 10-12


6 Jonagold or Granny Smith Apples, peeled and thinly sliced

2 cups fresh cranberries, rinsed and patted dry

1 tablespoon lemon juice

3/4 cup evaporated sugar cane juice

¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon sea salt

1 Never Fail Pie Crust Recipe

½ cup oat-based granola

4 tablespoons butter


Preheat oven to 375° F. In a large bowl, combine apples and cranberries. Pour lemon juice over the fruit and toss to coat evenly.

Combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Add to the fruit and stir to coat evenly.

Transfer the mixture to the piecrust. Top with granola and dot with butter.

Bake until the apples are tender, 50 to 60 minutes. Cool before serving.
