ATHENS – Two accomplices of apprehended November 17 terrorist fugitive Christodoulos Xeros, have also been picked up, Greek police said.

The two, a 54-year-old Greek and a 37-year-old Albanian – were arrested during a police operation in Kalamata, in the Peloponnese the night of Jan. 13 on a warrant from the prosecutor’s office on charges of belonging to a terrorist organization.

The two suspects were transferred to the police headquarters in Athens, police said.

Xiros was serving six life sentences for his role in six assassinations, including five Americans attached to the US Embassy over the years but was still given a Christmas vacation from a high-security prison and walked away.
