The luxury liner Costa Concordia, which sank in January 2012 killing 32 people, was lifted out of water. The ship will travel to Genoa, where it will be cut for scrap metal.
The photos published showing the inside of the ship are shocking. Images reveal the empty bar and cabins of the ship which cost 500 million pounds, while the furniture and personal things of passengers were floating among them. The casino and ballroom have been destroyed and arer hardly recognized.
The total cost of the removal of the ship, which was bigger than Titanic, is estimated at 1.5 billion euros.
