NICOSIA – Cyprus’ Finance Minister Harris Georgiades said on Thursday that the government looks forward to feedback from the parties that will improve the new foreclosures bill currently under consideration.
Georgiades said the government has already sent some proposals to the troika.
“We look forward to continuing the dialogue [with the parties] on a parliamentary level. In this dialogue, we as the government are neither absolute nor dogmatic,” Georgiades said to reporters just after a meeting with the European Party.
The European Party was the last group with whom the government has held consultations.
The Finance Committee will begin to review the foreclosures legislation on Monday.
