All American citizens, their families and friends – regardless of nationality – are invited to the event, which will he held on July 6 at the Day-Night Club Cafe, located at Leof Posidonos 45–47, Marathon beach, from 7 to 10pm.

Entrance to the event is €10 (€5 for children under 12), at which DAGR will be selling designer hot dogs, salads, corn on the cob and cold beer to raise money for the 2014 voter registration drive.

As Federal Election Commission regulations require that an American citizen pay for our food ticket sales, we encourage you to team up creatively and make new friends.

As the organisers need a good estimate of attendees to arrange adequate food supplies, those planning on attending should RSVP by July 3 by using the event’s Survey Monkey questionnaire. At the same time, you can reserve your seat on the bus travelling from Athens to the event.

For general information/questions on the event – but not reservations – please email demsabroadgreece@gmail.com or telephone 210-610-6488 for Meg Matsaganis (secretary) or 6973-794-849 for Alec Mally (chair).

Volunteers are also sought to help with the grill, food service, ticket-taking, or general cleanup, afterwards. Those interested should get in touch with Karen Lee, at-large rep, at 6932-700-095.

Organisers Democrats Abroad Greece (DAGR) are running a free bus from Athens to the venue. The coach will depart Syntagma Square (McDonalds) at 5.30pm and will make the following stops: Ag. Paraskevi metro (5.50pm) and Kifisia Square (6.10pm).
