Charles Smith Eve Chardonnay, 2012

Unoaked and uninhibited, this Washington Chardonnay allows the freshness of the varietal to show through in all its white fruity glory.

While still light to medium bodied, this wine is loaded with pear, apple, and melon flavors.

Slight flower blossoms appear on the mid-palate and continue through the lingering, bright finish.

This is a satisfying white wine for fans of steely Chardonnays who want a healthy dose of fruit as well.

This wine works well as a cocktail wine, but would also pair nicely with an appetizer of pita with a Greek dip of yogurt, feta cheese, roasted red peppers, and dill.
