The moment that the thriller about whether or not the debris of the Air Algerie aircraft have been found, the suspicions for the disappearance of the aircraft at dawn Thursday, are turned to five scenarios that are most likely to have happen.
So far the causes of new air mystery remains unanswered for the aircraft company Air Algerie which was performing the flight AH5017 from Burkina Faso to West Africa, while shed light on the case will give the black boxes when and if detected.
Until then, the network Sky News unveils five scenarios which considers prevalent:
The aircraft did not have enough fuel, as reported by some Algerian media. However, such a scenario seems not to be correct, as it is unlikely just 50 minutes from takeoff, the aircraft not to have enough fuel for a flight which is estimated at four hours.
As a second scenario, the British network wants aircraft to be shot down by rebels, adding that after the disappearance of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration issued a notice prohibiting U.S. aircraft to fly over the area and airspace of Mali for safety reasons .
The third scenario is hijacking, as it will not be the first time for the company Air Algerie to be a victim of hijackers which according to the British network there have been at least six times.
As most probable explanation for the disappearance of the aircraft is the bad weather, as well as according to a report, the control tower asked the governor to “change course over the Algerian border, because of bad weather and to avoid another aircraft” . Also as the author of the report states: “I suppose the plane did not collided with another aircraft, otherwise we would have references of a second plane that is gone missing,” so the weather scenario seems pretty likely.
The last scenario refers to information of the crash to have happened in Nigera, so this may mean that the crew decided to change its course to the east, but with the network not indicating the possible reasons for this change.
