Government spokeswoman Sophia Voultepsi commented on Thursday on SYRIZA officials’ statements regarding the arrest of terrorist Nikos Maziotis.

She said specifically: “The initial awkward silence by the main opposition on the day of Maziotis arrest regarding the succesful police operation was later replaced by suspicious statements on terrorists’ mistakes.”

“We can see that the main opposition continues to offer a political legitimacy to terrorism,” Voultepsi added. “We assume that soon enough they will move on to the stage of… making suggestions to the terrorists so that they don’t make new ‘mistakes’ in the future,” she concluded.
