Greece withstood a late fourth-quarter furious comeback from the Philippines to win its second game in a row, 82-70, in the World Basketball Cup in Spain on Aug. 31.

The Philippines was led by a former member of the Brooklyn Nets, Andray Blatche, who scored 21 points and ripped down 14 points as a one-man gang even though he was often double-teamed.

Greece ran up a 10-point lead in the first quarter and half and increased it to as much as 16 points late in the third quarter before getting sloppy, letting the sharpshooting Filipinos back into the game.

Greek teen star Yiannis Antetonkoumpo of the Cleveland Cavaliers had another good game.
