ATHENS – Greece’s dominant basketball powers, Panathinaikos’ Greens and Olympiacos’ Reds will battle for supremacy in the finals yet again, as they have for the last 11 years.

The stage was set when Olympiacos whipped upstart Aris, 79-62 on June 4 to win their series, 3-1 after Panathinaikos beat Thessaloniki’s other team, PAOK, in a 3-0 easy sweep.

The first game of the best-of-five finals will be June 7 at Olympiacos’ home court as the Reds won the regular season standings. Panathinaikos has won nine of the last 11 titles over the Reds. PAOK and Aris will play for third place.
