Spring is here – really! Even though it doesn’t seem that way – the weather’s getting warmer, and you know that that means – Oyster time! And here’s the perfect Champagne to go with them!
Ruinart’s Blanc de Blancs is decidedly one of the more beautiful wines I’ve had the privilege of tasting.
An absolutely pristine expression of Chardonnay, this Champagne shows laser focus and intensity while remaining round and full. Aromas of farm fresh stone fruit and white flowers jump out immediately, and the palate is crisp with lightly toasted notes complimenting bright apple and peach.
Dry, with bracing acidity, this Champagne will wake up your palate after the very first sip, and your wine worldview may never be the same. Try this paired with raw, cold water oysters, or with crispy, fried appetizers.
