The terrorist Nikos Maziotis, who was arrested on Wednesday in central Athens after a shootout with the police is now facing prosecution on five felonies and a series of misdemeanors. The persecution is also directed against the so far unidentified accomplices.
In particular, at his expense N. Maziotis was prosecuted for serial attempted murder under calm mental state jointly and singly, for repeated illegal carrying of a firearm and repeatedly unlawful use of weapons.
Also he was persecuted for: Violations related to explosives.
Robberies, from one of which came grievous bodily harm.
Seizure of false certification.
Aggravated theft by perpetrators who have come together to commit thefts and robberies by profession and habit in continuing and arson with intent of which could cause risk.
The file was assigned to an investigating judge while the file that has been read to the terrorist is bulkier.
