Nicos Anastasiades, the President of the Republic of Cyprus postponed a meeting scheduled for the morning of January 2 with the leaders of the island nation’s political parties to discuss the latest developments in the Cyprus issue.

The meeting that was to have been held at the presidential retreat in the Troodos mountains was postponed due to weather conditions and will now take place on January 5 at the Presidential Palace.

Nicos Christodoulides, the government spokesman  said the only issue on the agenda will be the Cyprus problem.
