In an article on its website on Feb. 5, the New Yorker remained optimistic that Greece and Germany would work out their differences, despite an icy meeting between their respective finance ministers, Yanis Varoufakis and Wolfgang Schaeuble.

The New Yorker believes this is just posturing right now, as the new Greek government and the Germans are feeling out each other – but in the end, reason will prevail.
