Europe bares its teeth towards the Kremlin’s strong man, Vladimir Putin, putting the finishing touches on new sanctions against Moscow, which will be announced tomorrow by the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, while the Russian government sets its own terms to support the Security Council resolution, calling for unhindered access to the site where the Malaysia Airlines Boeing was shot down.

At the same time, experts from the OSCE and the Netherlands are already in the Donetsk war zone in order to launch an investigation into the causes of the tragedy. While the Security Council is expected to discuss the vote today, Russia and the West continue the blame game, with the international community waiting for the information derived from the two black boxes of the Boeing, the findings of experts about what happened to the victims’ plane.
