WASHINGTON, DC – Timmy Maniatis, a pillar of the Greek-American community at the national level and in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, has passed away.
The viewing and the funeral will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, which is located at 2815 Massachusetts Ave, NW. Washington DC.
The viewing will take place between the hours of 7 and 9 PM and the funeral will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 7.

Basil Mossaides, the current Executive Director of AHEPA, said “Timmy served the Order of Ahepa for many years as our Executive Director as well as serving the Archdiocese and also as the NHS Executive Director for many years. He was a pioneer in association management in the Greek Community. Personally I will miss his sense of humor and outlook on life. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our sincerest condolences to his family. May his memory be eternal.”
